Z2i SMS Application can send SMS with certified delivery reciepts. Currently this product is used within the European Union. The SMS messages delivery is certified by a third party independent certification agent and a certificate is issued for the delivery. A PDF is created with the certificate and delivered to the users email within minutes. This certificate gives a high degree of legal proof of electronic delivery of the SMS message to the recpient of the SMS.

How it works
Certified SMS is a Short Text Message, SMS, containing a PDF certificate attachment issued by a trusted third party time stamp authority and digitally signed based on the mobile operators delivery receipt, proving that you have sent a SMS with specific text to a particular destination.
| 1. The user sends the Text Notification to Z2i using the Web interface application or API. |
| 2. Z2i sends the message to the users handset using secure protocol communication with the mobile operators. The operator confirms with an electronic delivery receipt that the SMS text message has been delivered to the users handset. |
| 3. The delivery receipt is verified by a trusted third party certification agency. The certification agent creates a written digital receipt with an attached digital certificate proving the autenticity of the receipt and time stamp. |
| 4. Z2i returns the certified PDF document to the users as a certified proof of deleivery of the SMS text message. |
